Welcome

Our vision at Victor Herbert Elementary School is to educate all students to achieve their fullest potential physically, intellectually, emotionally and socially, so that they will become critical thinkers who are able to read with understanding, fluency, comprehension, and possess the ability to write effectively as rational decision makers.

Victor Herbert School is a valued resource and asset to the entire community.  It is a community of residents, civic business leaders, staff, students and parents who share in the vision of what we embrace in the 21st century.

We believe that the Victor Herbert students have a hunger for learning and a desire to achieve that will lead them to surpass national norms on all standardized tests in all subject areas.

We believe that parents must continue to place a high value on learning.  We encourage parents and relatives to become willing and eager participants who are actively engaged daily in the education of our children.

Victor Herbert teachers and staff personnel will remain committed to the belief that all children can learn.  Victor Herbert teachers and staff will work with one another, with parents, and with the students to ensure that each student reaches his or her academic potential and develops a strong self-image.

The Victor Herbert community will remain dedicated to reaching out to the school to assist in the development of our students.  It is important that we maintain a safe environment, provide adult supervision, assistance, and sharing in all aspects of our student’s growth and development.  The Victor Herbert community is a safe haven for nurturing the well being of our children.
